A Day in Sonoma Valley

              (Approximately 4.5 hours / Three Wineries)

This introduction trail loops the entire valley and finishes on the Square in the town of Sonoma. Start the day at California's oldest commercial winery (Buena Vista /1857) and be sure to engage their Wine Museum Tour and Tasting. Continue north up highway 12 until you reach Chateau St. Jean in the community of Kenwood. The majestic architecture and beautiful gardens represent a former summer home converted winery. Next, head south on Warm Springs Road to Glen Ellen and the Benziger Family Winery. This fascinating estate is self contained, farms within biodynamic principals and 100% sustainable. Finish at the iconic Girl and the Fig restaurant off the Sonoma Square.
